Description
LEAP/01 1.57” is a top-quality red dot sight mount with an integrated Aimpoint Micro footprint developed and manufactured by Scalarworks.
The skeletonized, forward-lean mount is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy for maximum strength and the lowest possible weight. The entire frame is anodized and nitrided black for superb scratch resistance and limiting light reflections. All edges and surfaces were chamfered and radiused to ensure a slick, non-protruding, and snatch-free design.
The mount weighs 40g and places the center of the aiming point at 1.57”/39.8mm/Lower 1/3 Co-Witness height.
The Aimpoint Micro footprint is compatible with multiple red dot sights using the same mounting layout, such as Aimpoint T1/2, H1/2, Comp5, Holosun 403, 503, 515, and 530 series.
LEAP/01 uses the ClickDrive™ QD mechanism for efficient and rock-solid hold on the Picatinny rail. Additional shear lugs are added to the clamp section to improve lateral impact resistance and maximize stability.
